As we all know the world’s largest continent is
Asia, whether be according to population or area. It is found on the northern
and eastern hemisphere of world map. It is surrounded by landmass of Eurasia
on western side, on eastern side it is bounded by Pacific Ocean, on Southern
side Indian Ocean and northern side Arctic Ocean.
It constitute about 60% of world population and 4billion people apprx.
Asia represents a vast collection of different cultures, art, style, music,
huge range of ethnic groups, environment, historical background, language,
government systems etc. as it incorporates a number of countries. Because
of large number of countries Asian philosophies covers a large spectrum
of philosophical thoughts.Asian mythology is also quite diverse, the most
famous of which are the Hindu mythology and Chinese mythology.
The contribution of Asian Countries cant go unnoticed in the technologies
and ideas which lead to great development.The fertile river valleys which
was home to earliest known civilizations as in Mesopotamia. The Indus
Valley and The Haunghe are such examples leading to the development of
modern world. The conquest of Islamic Caliphate in the middle east and
Central Asia during 7th Century and the conquest of The Mongol Empire
in large parts of Asia was also of utmost importance.
One of the important aspect of Asia is the rich and varied cultural heritage.Apart
from English being the international language various other languages
are also practiced some of which include the Chinese, Japanese,Korean,
Hindi, etc.
Various religions are also practiced in Asia, such as Hinduism,Islam,
Christianity, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikkhiam, Zoroastrianism, and many more.
The development of Malaysia. Indonesia, India, Thailand, etc has been
remarkable indeed.
Asia has quite a number of places to visit.
The one is India-Not also rich in culture but also large and varied heritage.The
great architectural work can be seen in Delhi, The Red Ford,Jantar Mantar,
Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar. The famous Taj Mahal at Agra is also
one of the tourist attraction of India.The major cities such as Mumbai,
Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Goa are in itself superb places to visit.
One can admire the beauty of the Temples in South India.
One can not forget the shopping centers of Singapore.Some of the festivals
and events of Singapore are fantabulous, such as Singapore Food Festival,
Singapore Sun Festival. Its really fun to enjoy the night life of Singapore.
China, which has a place in world’s top destinations has amazing
places to visit. Especially Beijing and Shanghai.The Great Wall Of China
is also a major attraction for tourists. As it is said that it is visible
from the Eart’s orbit
Kathmandu, in Nepal is also one of the famous places, because of its artistic
heritage. The temples present there are makes the place worth visiting.
Japan with its capital Tokyo is a superb place to visit.It is rightly
said ‘The Land Of Rising Sun. The cities are modern and hi-tech
as any other cities and the culture of Japan is unique in itself.
Indonesia is a great place to visit, especially Java and Sumatra and ofcourse
Bali which is one of the beautiful place to visit. The stone sculptures
and crafts are also quite famous.
Bangkok, the capital of Thailand has a variety of places to capture your
interest. The sight seeing, shopping centers, temples are remarkably good.
It is also famous for its commercial activities.
Turkey withholds great archaeological sites, Museum, Mosque, etc.
Vietnam is one of the most preferred place of tourist. The beautiful landscape
