Also known as Panaji Beach in popular parlance, Miramar Beach is located 1 kilometer ahead of the confluence of the Arabian Sea and Mandovi River. One of the most visited beaches in India, Miramar Beach is located on the way towards Dona Paula. Dona Paula is situated 3 kilometers from Panjim, the capital of Goa.
Just 3 km from the Panaji and one km away from Dona Paula, Miramar Beach is the nearest beach from the capital city of the Goa.
Also called 'Gasper Dias', Miramar Beach attracts visitors in large number and consequently remains crowded thanks to the coming of tourists, revelers and the locals.
Fringed with swaying palm trees, the golden Miramar Beach provides several options for accommodations. The beach is equipped with a large number of good beach resorts and hotels. These resorts and hotels are frequented by the tourists. Once at the Miramar Beach, you can have incredible view of the Aguada Fort located just across the Mandovi River.

The right time to travel to Miramar Beach is between November and March. This period witnesses the migrations of different types of birds including gulls and plovers. There are many shops located in the near proximity of the beach.
The Dabolim airport in the capital city of Panaji is located just 3 kms away from Miramar beach. You can reach Miramar beach within minutes from Panaji by road. Taxis or bikes can be hired.
