Climate of Yaounde
Normally all other cities and towns in Africa experiences a tropical wet climate. But Yaounde is different. Here the rainy season continues from February to November with a strange trait of greatly reduced precipitation in July and August. This will give a notion as if there are two rainy seasons for the city separated by a dry spell. The long rains and relatively cool climate because of the altitude of the city gives it a tropical wet and dry climate.
Transportation in Yaounde
Transport in and around the city is easy with active rail, road and air networks. There are two airports in the city; one for the civilians, and another for the military. Road network is good, but due to heavy traffic often passengers meet accidents in busy streets.
